Are face coverings required?

May a supervisor ask their employees if they have been vaccinated?

No. Supervisors should not ask employees about their vaccination status or why they chose not to receive a vaccination, as such inquiries may elicit disability-related or other protected information.

Additionally, coworkers should not ask others about their vaccination status. Regardless of vaccination status, all members of the FAU community should conduct themselves with an abundance of caution and respect for others.

Student Health Services may ask about vaccination status for contact tracing purposes.
