Immigration Orientation AND Check-in
Both Immigration Orientation and Immigration Check-In sessions are federally mandated processes. All new international students who are starting as new students, changing status, or changing their level of study are required to attend.
- Immigration Orientation - an in-person informational session to learn about F1 regulations and requirements. Students must attend the orientation to learn how to maintain F-1 status.
- Immigration Check-in - a virtual session where students complete the check-in form and submit all their immigration documents for review. Students must finish the check-in process to be eligible for activation in SEVIS.
You MUST attend both sessions to fulfill your F-1 requirements.
