Students can study abroad on a wide range of programs, learn a foreign language, and take coursework on international topics for degrees. Faculty lead study abroad programs, conduct research on international issues, and help form collaborative partnerships with scholars and universities around the world.
Each year FAU also welcomes hundreds of international students for degree and non-degree coursework and English language training, and hosts visiting scholars and interns who work with FAU faculty. International students and exchange visitors enjoy a world class university experience where many cultures, geographic regions and ethnicities are represented, valued and respected. FAU academic and student affairs offices help integrate international students and visitors into vibrant student life and campus experiences.
