University Center for Excellence in Writing (UCEW)

The University Center for Excellence in Writing (UCEW) supports students as part of their first-year experience and throughout their academic career at Florida Atlantic. Students can meet with trained writing consultants at any point of the writing process. Our consultants are attentive readers from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds who will work with you on term papers, research, formatting and citations, application materials, cover letters, and more. We would love to help you to improve your writing skills.

The UCEW hires consultants who have at least one semester of demonstrated success in writing. You can earn a stipend to help students improve their writing skills. Applications can be submitted online through our website.
