Victoria Siegel
Dr. Victoria (Vickie) Siegel is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Atlantic University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and her Doctorate in Education (Counselor Education track) from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Vickie is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Counselor Supervisor in the state of Idaho, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. Over the course of her therapy career, Dr. Vickie has worked in various treatment settings with a diverse range of clientele. Her specialties include working with survivors of crime (domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, homicide and human trafficking), self-esteem, PTSD, grief and loss, and addiction. Additionally, she incorporates Sandtray Therapy and other expressive techniques into her counseling sessions. Dr. Vickie is active in numerous international, national and state counseling organizations. Her research focuses on the implementation and effectiveness of creative strategies in both counseling and supervision, particularly for those have experienced trauma.
