What is Genio Notes?
Genio Notes is an alternative note-taking tool that lets users record notes during lectures, classes, and meetings. It supports students with organizing and reviewing course materials using features such as audio playback, transcription, and live closed captions.
Key Features:
- Audio Recording & Tagging: Records lectures (in-person or online) and visualizes audio into speech blocks and pauses. Students can tag key moments instead of transcribing everything in real time.
- AI Transcription & Outlines: Automatically transcribes recordings and generates structured outlines, making it easy to search for specific topics.
- Import & Annotate: Allows users to import presentation slides, PDFs, and whiteboard photos to match against spoken audio.
- STEM & Scribble Support: Features OCR to translate whiteboard text, supports complex mathematical formulas, and provides a scribble tool for diagrams.
- Quiz Mode: Employs an AI-powered “Quiz Me” feature that generates multiple-choice quizzes to test knowledge.
