Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
BSN
Nursing is studied as a discipline of knowledge and as a profession grounded in Caring Science in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Upon fulfillment of program outcomes, students will earn the BSN degree. This degree is the foundation of professional Nursing.
Master of Science in Nursing Program
MSN
Our Master’s program is designed to offer the leadership, clinical experience, and teaching skills that you will need in your chosen direction of practice. The caring philosophy of our College is evident throughout our curriculum, which has been designed to fit your schedule and your life.
Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Program
PHD
The Doctor of Philosophy with major in Nursing (PhD) degree program prepares nurses as scholars in conducting nursing research about practice problems and creating innovative responses to practice issues. The program is expected to expand nursing knowledge and theory and directly impact the health of communities.
Doctor of Nursing Practice
DNP
The Doctor of Nursing Practice program is the first Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited DNP program in Florida. Our goal is to help students grow in clinical scholarship and develop into leaders in advanced practice who provide expert care to our community and beyond.
Nursing Continuing Professional Development
NCPD
Our fully online, self-paced, on-demand certificate courses increase knowledge and clinical judgment in patient care and explore caring approaches in areas including Compassionate Care of Older Adults at Risk for or Experiencing Dementia, Telemetry/Progressive Care, Caring Science and Telehealth.
Post Graduate Certificate Programs
PGC
Applicants holding an earned Master of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program may apply to the College’s Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) Programs which provide graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in various concentrations. The PGC is a certificate issued upon completion of the program.

Inspired by her father's selfless dedication to health care, Daphne Young, a Freshman Direct Admit student at Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, has embarked on a journey to pursue nursing as her lifelong calling.

“As an aspiring nurse, it is my duty to take advantage of every opportunity I am granted to ensure that I can develop my skills to benefit my future patients,” Daphne said.

College of Nursing Hosts Innovation Exchange with Health-Sciences Colleges
The Innovation Exchange, an internal research event hosted by Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing in partnership with the Florida Atlantic Colleges of Engineering & Computer Science, Medicine, Social Work & Criminal Justice, and Science, took place on November 13. The program aimed to foster and celebrate collaborative research, igniting the next wave of interdisciplinary health-sciences innovation across the five colleges.

Nearly 70 FAU faculty are ranked among the world's top 2% of scientists by Stanford-Elsevier, recognizing their global research impact across 22 fields and 174 subfields from engineering to humanities.
2025 Lamplighter Group Photo
The Lamplighter Scholarship Ceremony formally recognizes students’ entry into the nursing profession, as the lamp symbolizes the light a nurse brings to patients, offering hope and comfort to those in need. This year’s ceremony will be held on January 29, 2026. Sponsors and individual donors will have the opportunity to meet the nursing students whose journeys have been directly impacted by their generous support.

Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing representatives joined the university’s delegation for Florida Atlantic Day at the State Capitol, from October 13 to15. While in Tallahassee, the group came together to meet with state legislators and their staff, advocate for university priorities and celebrate student success and achievements including Florida Atlantic’s R1 Carnegie Designation as a top-tier research university.

Fall Alumni Reception on the Davie Campus
The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University’s Alumni and Community Engagement team, hosted its Fall Alumni Reception on Thursday, October 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Student Union on the Davie campus. The event brought together alumni, faculty, staff and students for an evening of connection and reflection.
