Florida Atlantic University’s College of Education invites graduate students to embark on a transformative Study Abroad experience in Ireland during Summer 2026, offered through the Curriculum and Instruction Department. This immersive program explores how the United States and Ireland shape learning, citizenship, and culture, combining rigorous academic study with meaningful field experiences. Participants will visit Irish schools, engage with local educators, analyze curriculum and pedagogy, and learn at historically significant sites across vibrant cities and Gaeltacht regions. Students may enroll in EDG 6931: Foundations of Ireland—History, Culture, Identity, and Educational Traditions or EDG 6937: Contemporary Ireland—Global Intersections, Challenges, and Contributions in Education to take part in the program. We warmly invite current and future educators to join this summer of learning, discovery, and global insight, and return home with renewed perspective, professional connections, and lifelong memories.
