VETERAN OWLS STUDENT ORGANIZATION
Florida Atlantic's Veteran Owls are dedicated to helping fellow military-connected students with their transition from military service into their pursuit of higher education and career success goals . Our mission is to serve and support our military-connected student peers who are making a transition into the Florida Atlantic’s academic community and Owl Family. We welcome Active Duty, Selected Reserve, National Guard, ROTC Cadets, Veterans, and their families to Florida Atlantic!
Veteran Owls are comprised of military-connected student and alumni who partner with the Military and Veteran Student Success (MVSS) Team and Center, Office of the President, and various stakeholders to provide holistic integration, support, and engagement resources designed to optimize your success. Most importantly, we are Veterans and we are here with you.
Here, we will continue the sense of membership that you experienced during your military service. In partnership with the MVSS team, we will assist your transition in matters involving financial aid, housing, academic tutoring, Military Chaplaincy, family engagement, career coaching, counseling, special events, and engagement opportunities. We are confident that you will foster new friendships, well-being, and a durable support system with Veteran Owls.
