The Winning Team: Army Mom and Dad Graduate Together!
Florida Atlantic and the Military and Veterans Student Success (MVSS) team are especially proud to recognize two of our extraordinary graduates who are both serving in the United States Army. On August 11, 2026, both Sergeant Diane Pfeiffer and Sergeant Justin Pfeiffer – a proud Army husband and Army wife team – graduated from Florida Atlantic together. Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health Science.
Diane, an Army Radiology Specialist and Technician, has served in the U.S. Army for 9 years; Justin has served for over 14 years in the U.S. Army as a Radiology Technician (Electrophysiology). Both of these Veteran Owls completed an associate’s degree in Radiography while they were assigned together at the Combat Support Hospital, Fort Antonio, Texas. Afterward, they chose Florida Atlantic to complete their healthcare bachelor degree programs together.
Having now received freshly conferred baccalaureate degrees, both of these Sergeants will continue their pursuit of advanced degrees at Florida Atlantic. Diane will pursue a licensure in Mental Health Counseling while Justin will pursue the Master of Healthcare Administration degree.
Successfully navigating the rigor of both a husband and wife serving in the U.S. Army, parenting of three children, and achieving academic excellence, it is clear that the Pfeiffer family models the very best of Florida Atlantic and our Veteran Owls community.
We thank them for choosing Florida Atlantic and for their service to our nation. Congratulations, Sergeants!
