FAU's Military and Veteran Student Success (MVSS) team welcomed our new 2026 class of military-connected students, family, Army ROTC Cadets, and U.S. Coast Guard Officer Trainees at the Military Connections Welcome Event on January 15, 2026.
Welcoming new military-connected students and family were President Adam Hasner, First Lady Jill Hasner, Dr. Larry Faerman, Vice President of Student Affairs, Pamela Malyk, Dean of Students, Dr. Dan Meeroff, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Lieutenant Colonel Keith Weaver III, Officer-in-Charge/PMS, Talon Battalion, FAU - Army ROTC, Jack Nixon, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Student Government (SG), Nicholas Special, Speaker Pro Tempore, SG, Jason Nadolinski, Director, MVSS, and the MVSS team. Leaders and success partners from key service and support areas, including CAPS, SAS, UAS, MLC, UCEW, Career Services, Family Engagement, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Military Chaplain liaison presented their resources for the FAU military student community.
