Roadtrip Nation Adds New Dimension to Annual Nursing Career Fair
Friday, Feb 13, 2026
Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing and Florida Atlantic Career Center hosted the annual Nursing Career Fair on February 10, welcoming more than 130 nursing students and alumni for an afternoon of networking, professional development and career exploration.
This year’s event featured a new addition: Roadtrip Nation , a nonprofit organization that creates documentary series and educational resources designed to help individuals explore career pathways. As part of its current nursing-focused project, Roadtrip Nation team is traveling the country to interview nurses in diverse roles and settings, highlighting the many directions a nursing degree can take, from bedside care to leadership, research and community health. The team connected with students, alumni, faculty, and staff to share insights from the project and encourage future nurses to think broadly about their professional opportunities.
Nine employers met with students and alumni to discuss job openings and advancement opportunities, while attendees had the chance to build relationships and expand their professional networks. We hope that many meaningful connections were made that will lead to internships, interviews and employment opportunities in the months ahead.
