Biography

Dr. Sarah Snyder is an Assistant Professor at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Miami and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Maryville University of St Louis. She has experience working as a registered nurse in medical-surgical units and the emergency department. Dr. Snyder worked as a nurse practitioner in an urgent care, quality department and the development of a lung cancer screening program. At the College of the Nursing, Dr. Snyder teaches didactic and clinical for the adult medical surgical courses and assists in the simulation center. She maintains board certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator.
