Why It Matters

After a storm or major emergency, it's important to quickly, safely, and accurately assess damage on any FAU campus or site. It helps:

• Get the right resources to the areas of greatest needs.
• Determine if damages exceed available unit or university resources.
• Document losses for possible FEMA reimbursement.

 

Who Reports

Damages must be reported by:

• Unit/College/Division Damage Assessment Teams
• University-wide Damage Assessment Teams

How to Submit

• Document - Take multiple, clear photos and label each one
• Report - Complete all required fieldings in the FAU Damage Assessment Form and submit promptly.
