College of Education Field Experience
Spring 2021: All clinical experiences are suspended for the spring 2021 semester with the exception of EDG 3324 and ESE 3940 and internship experiences. Instructors of courses that typically have field experiences will adjust the requirements for the course so that students can complete the requirement through alternative activities. Practicum and Student Teachers will receive communication about the requirements of these courses from instructors as it becomes available.
Fall 2021: The deadline to submit a Fall 2021 Student Teaching Application is January 31st and the deadline to submit all passing scores on the FTCE is March 31st. We will continue to monitor the testing situation and will adjust this deadline if necessary. At this time, all student teaching placements for the Fall 2021 semester will be in-person. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update this information as it becomes available.
