What Should You Wear?

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?

Choosing the right attire is key to capturing a high-quality, professional image. Here are some important guidelines to help you look your best:

  • Opt for business professional or business casual clothing, based on the industry you’re targeting. Keep in mind that expectations vary—for example, business attire in finance may differ from what’s typical in creative fields like advertising.
  • Wear solid colors, preferably mid-range to deeper shades. These photograph well and help keep the focus on your face.
  • Avoid all-white outfits and very light colors, as they may wash out in photos.
  • Skip solid black tops, unless paired with a jacket or sweater—black clothing alone often loses detail on camera.
  • Minimize distractions by avoiding bold patterns, large logos, or flashy accessories.
