Aly's PhD work utilized the Blind Mexican Cavefish to study the evolution of social behavior. After completing her PhD in neuroscience at FAU, Aly transitioned to science communication full time. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow with the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute's community outreach team.
