Claire Rice holds her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavior, her master's degree in psychology and her Ph.D. in experimental psychology in neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University. Her studies on ketamine-induced psychosis led to a patent application for a new therapeutic approach for schizophrenia treatment involving selective modulation of small conductance calcium activated potassium channels. She conducted various studies on mechanisms of hippocampal-dependent memory and consolidation of trace fear memory. Claire provides key expertise in behavioral neuroscience to study interventions aimed at halting memory loss and other neurological symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases.
