The SOAR-in-4 Scholars Program is a unique and highly customized initiative that provides participating students with professional, hands-on support and personalized guidance as they work toward completing a bachelor’s degree within four years of initial freshman enrollment.

Through this program, participating colleges foster a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes academic achievement, career readiness, and long-term success at Florida Atlantic University and beyond.

Participants in the SOAR-in-4 Scholars Program receive benefits such as:

  • Advanced Course Registration: Participants can register for all their courses each term before regular registration begins, ensuring a seat in high-demand classes.
  • Comprehensive Student Success Team: A dedicated team works with participants to navigate academic plans, support career development, and assist with any student account needs.
  • Professional Networking Events and Showcases: Each semester, participants receive personalized invitations to connect with professionals from various fields, discuss career experiences, and explore shadowing and research opportunities.
  • Research Experience and Opportunity Workshops: Participants learn about research projects, fellowships, summer programs, and grants available at FAU, across Florida, nationally, and internationally.
  • Semester Career Counselor Meetings: Participants meet with a career counselor to clarify goals, explore career options, evaluate potential occupational settings, and receive guidance on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and internship or job searches.
  • Invitations to Special Events and Opportunities: Participants receive direct notifications about exclusive events, such as lunches with deans, faculty networking sessions, and other unique opportunities offered throughout the year.
