With over 500,000 student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletic programs (NCAA, 2023) and the ever-changing landscape of both higher education and athletics, academic advisors with specialized skills to guide and support student-athlete populations are essential. This webinar will share how the six phases of Appreciative Advising can be used to increase the academic success of student-athletes. Participants will learn about specific appreciative advising strategies and questions that can be used with student-athletes.
