Professor Linda Johnson joined Florida Atlantic University in 1997 as an Assistant Professor in Graphic, where she worked with colleagues to develop the M.F.A. in Graphic Design program and served as the graduate coordinator for over 10 years. She served as Chair of the Department of Visual Arts and Art History from 2008-2012, Associate Dean of the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters from 2012-2019 and currently serves as the Interim Associate Vice President of the FAU Broward Campuses. 

Professor Linda Johnson is an accomplished artist and designer who specializes in limited edition book design. She has received several awards including the National Museum for Women in the Arts: Book Artist Fellowship, the Florida Artists' Book Prize and a New York Art Directors Book Design Award. Her work is exhibited internationally and resides in numerous public and private collections including Tate Britain, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, New York Public Library, Harvard, Yale, UCLA, and the Sackner Archives of Concrete and Visual Poetry.
