ATTENTION:

The ucew is offering online appointments only until further notice.

To accommodate as many students as possible, the following policies will apply:

  • All students are eligible for 1 (one) appointment per day
  • Appointment times will be limited to 40 minutes
  • All students can book a maximum of 2 (two) appointments per week

Appointments will use Google Meet [formerly called Hangouts] and Google Docs. To make the most of your appointment time, please ensure you are comfortable using these technologies. Please watch the following two short video tutorials before your appointment time to learn how to join an online appointment in Google Meet and share your paper in Google Docs. You can also read through these guidelines and tips.  Students should use Chrome internet browser while signed into Google with their FAU account. Check your email before your session to find the link for the appointment sent by the consultant. If you have problems, you can write to the email address containing the link.

Since we will not have front desk staff during this time to take your phone calls, please email the Assistant Director, Suzanne Sink, at ssink@fau.edu if you do not receive an invitation to join your consultation, or you have any questions or concerns.

The UCEW will resume normal operations when FAU classes meet on campus again.
