Academic Program Transition Guides
Thinking about transferring to FAU? Learn how to get ahead by utilizing the transition guides below. Each guide includes transferrable lower division courses for all undergraduate majors at FAU. Note that courses listed on each guide are major–specific requirements, not requirements for admission to FAU. Completing an Associate of Arts degree from one of the Florida public state colleges is also strongly encouraged. Transfer Advising Services
Transfer Advisings make up about half of our undergraduate student population and bring with them a valuable set of diverse experiences that will enhance the FAU community. Transfer Advising Services embraces those experiences by supporting Transfer Advisings through their pre-admission processes, pre-advising and transition academic advising needs, as well as facilitating student connection to on-campus resources.
At FAU there is an office dedicated to assisting Transfer Advisings through their transition. The Transfer Advising Services Center team is here to help you through your FAU experience. Our TSS staff has transfer-specific application advising, pre-admission advising, as well as various Transfer Advising involvement opportunities for you to utilize through your transition.
Mission
Florida Atlantic University Transfer Advising Services provides a streamlined onboarding process for Transfer Advisings through:
- Comprehensive transfer admissions services
- Pre-Admission and transition academic advising
- Facilitating student connection to on campus resources
Additionally, Transfer Advising Services supports Transfer Advisings by advocating for inclusive policies, practices, and programs, in order to promote successful progression towards timely degree completion.
