Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement

Alex Keene, Ph.D., a professor of biological sciences in FAU's Charles E. Schmidt College of Science,  Rod Murphey, Ph.D., associate vice president for academic affairs of FAU's John D. MacArthur Campus and Evelyn Frazier, Ph.D., in FAU’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Science were awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant to fund an Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) at Florida Atlantic University. 

U-Rise will immerse a diverse group of undergraduate students in scientific training, and prepare them for matriculation into research-based graduate programs.

U-Rise is coming this Fall to FAU Jupiter.
