FAU Jupiter Campus Celebrates Arbor Day

FAU Jupiter Campus recently celebrated  Arbor Day  2022 in the  Robert J. Huckshorn Arboretum . Arbor Day is a nationally recognized holiday that celebrates trees and encourages individuals to participate in the customary observance activity and plant a tree.   
 
During the celebration, remarks were delivered by speakers  Bethany Stanhope, Ph.D. , executive director of academic operations, FAU Jupiter;  Justin Perry, Ph.D. , dean, Wilkes Honors College;  Rachel Luria , associate dean of student affairs and associate professor of Rhetoric and Composition, Wilkes Honors College;  Alana Edwards , education and training coordinator,  Center for Environmental Studies , FAU; Victoria Middlebrooks, trustee, Chastain Charitable Foundation; and  Mary Beth Mudrick , associate director of development, FAU Jupiter. Professor of History and American Studies at FAU’s WHC,  Christopher Strain, Ph.D. , gave the keynote speech.
