Florida Atlantic University Intensive English Institute (IEI) provides English language instruction for the purpose of an academic degree, professional interest, or personal goal. Students develop linguistic competence through comprehensive, purposeful curricula based upon internationally recognized proficiency standards.

In addition, the IEI recognizes the importance of cross-cultural communication and interaction.
