FAU Harbor Branch Events

Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute (HBOI) is a leader in marine science and education, dedicated to advancing ocean research and sharing discoveries with the public. Through our engaging events, we connect science with the community, offering opportunities to learn, explore, and be inspired by the wonders of the ocean.

From our Ocean Science Lecture Series, where leading researchers share the latest in marine discoveries, to the annual Indian River Lagoon (IRL) Symposium, which brings together scientists, students, and community members, our events highlight both innovation and collaboration. We also celebrate marine life and conservation through the Ocean’s Day Film Festival, and invite visitors to experience our campus and marine research firsthand through Public Tours.

Join us to explore, learn, and celebrate the ocean with FAU Harbor Branch.
