We're excited to announce that Florida Atlantic University's Center for Global Engagement has been selected to receive a 2026 IIE American Passport Project grant .
Through this initiative, FAU will provide selected eligible students with $165 toward the cost of their first U.S. passport application, helping reduce financial barriers to future international opportunities.
Receiving passport funding is not a commitment to study abroad. Instead, it equips students with one of the most important tools for future global learning, internships, research, and career opportunities.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are a U.S. citizen
- Are 18 or older
- Are currently enrolled at FAU
- Are Pell-eligible or a low-income student
