Shane teaches aspects of video and television production. He is also an independent film and video maker with interests and emphasis on experimental and documentary characteristics of time-based media. His productions have screened in a number of film festivals, television programs and galleries across Canada, the United States and parts of Asia and Europe. “works of the flesh: second study” is his latest film on the film festival circuit.
Shane is currently working on several projects which include 16mm film stills for a light box series; a long form 35mm film entitled “there once was a rocket in his red glare;” and a site-specific media installation called “erosion.”
