Transfer Students with 30+
Post-Secondary College Credits

Congratulations on your acceptance to Florida Atlantic University. We are so excited to have you continue your academic pursuits as part of the Owl family. The Office of New Student Orientation and Transfer Student Services is here to help you transition from your previous institution.

All new incoming transfer students are required to complete an online pre-orientation and attend a one-day on campus orientation session. The Transfer Orientation program is designed to help with your transition to FAU. Transfer students with 30+ Post-Secondary College credit participate in Transfer Orientation. Transfer students with less than 30 Post-Secondary College credits are required to participate in Freshman Orientation. Please read through these pages carefully, as there is a lot of information to know before you make your reservation.

Transfer Student Services is available to help you if you have any questions or concerns regarding your transfer experience. Dani Iannelli, Coordinator for Transfer Student Services, can help you navigate university departments and procedures. You can reach her via email at or by phone at (561) 297-2733.

Please Note: If you are participating in a fully online undergraduate academic program, or you are a non-Florida resident and have difficulty attending orientation in person, please contact the Office of New Student Orientation at or by phone at (561) 297-2733 to discuss your options for completing orientation.
