Sipai Klein

Dr. Sipai Klein comes to FAU English Department from Clayton State University where he served as a Professor of English and directed the university’s writing center for ten years. In that position, he also spearheaded and implemented the course-embedded writing tutoring program for which he was awarded the University System of Georgia Regents’ Momentum Year Award for Excellence in Teaching and Curricular Innovation. Prior to that position, he was a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology where he taught technical and professional communication courses. Dr. Klein earned his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Professional Communication from New Mexico State University. His research interests include artificial intelligence in writing studies, multimodal composition, writing tutoring education, and service learning. He has published work in Computers and Composition Online, The Writing Center Journal, Praxis, and the Journal of Community Engagement and Scholarship.
