Clinical Research Unit Covid19 Registry and Biorepository
About This Study
The purpose of this study is to create a central Florida Atlantic University registry, data and biorepository from patients diagnosed with Coronavirus 2 (SARS–CoV-2), the novel coronavirus responsible for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The objective of this registry and repository is to collect, maintain and distribute data and specimens from subjects who were diagnosed with COVID-19 or subjects who were living in the same house of a participant who has confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19. This study also aims to provide a needed clinical demographic and specimens data set to conduct future research in areas of interest for FAU faculty.
Participation Eligibility
- Currently asymptomatic individuals, with documented positive test for COVID-19 reported.
- Asymptomatic quarantine companions, who shared residency with COVID-19 positive subject and who spent 14 days of quarantine in the same house of the positive person.
