When

The ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at 9am, 1pm and 5pm and Friday, May 4th at 9am, 1pm and 5pm . Degree candidates should report to the Live Oak Pavilion one hour before the beginning of the ceremony.

Where

The Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Center located in the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus. For directions and parking information for FAU Commencement Ceremonies at the Boca Raton Campus click here .

For the safety and security of all graduates and their guests, mandatory security screening with metal detectors will occur at all ceremonies. All bags and personal belongings will be inspected upon entering the Student Union. As such, please bring only essential items to the graduation ceremony. Plan your arrival to ensure adequate time to go through security.


How

  • Graduates will receive an email invitation in their FAU mail account the week of February 23, 2018.

  • Graduates must RSVP to the Registrar's Office by March 13, 2018 if they intend to participate in the ceremony

  • Everyone should reply to the email whether or not they plan to attend the ceremony.


The Commencement Ceremony will last approximately two hours. In order to maintain an orderly and dignified ceremony, one that you and your fellow classmates will want to remember, all graduates and their guests are expected to be present for the entire ceremony. As you make your decision concerning your attendance at Commencement, please keep this in mind.
