The No. 28 Florida Atlantic women’s tennis team will continue its historic season at the NCAA Championship in Durham, North Carolina, later this week. This is the Owls’ first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2004.

This was a banner year for the Owls, who were the only undefeated team in the nation and the first team in school history to finish the regular season undefeated. Their one loss came during the postseason in the American Athletic Conference tournament. Three players tallied double-digit wins this season:

  • Sophomore Malwina Rowinska recorded a 14-1 record during the dual season and a 15-4 record overall.
  • Senior Lexi Silna enters the tournament with a 12-0 dual match record and a 13-0 record this year.
  • Sophomore Panna Bartha, who was the 2024 All-AAC honoree and AAC Freshman of the Year, holds a dual match record of 11-4.

Florida Atlantic (16-1) will face No. 46 Old Dominion (19-4) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 2 at 1 p.m. You can watch live by clicking here.

Congratulations to our women's tennis players, Head Coach Ricardo Gonzalez, and the staff on an amazing season — and good luck in the NCAA Tournament!

Go Owls!
