Happy Women’s History Month!

March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor and appreciate the invaluable achievements made by women. To celebrate, Florida Atlantic is hosting several events across the University.

The 2022 theme, “Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” was selected by the National Women’s History Alliance to emphasize the enduring contributions of women caregivers both past and present. It also acknowledges the courageous and tireless efforts of the women who have served the front lines of medicine during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

At FAU, we further recognize those who are building futures in the fields of health and wellness. From the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing to the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, our female students are some of the highest performers in the state, and we will do all that we can to support them and their progress.

With appreciation for all women – at FAU and beyond – I encourage our community to attend and participate in the many special events taking place throughout the month.
