Welcome Back, Owls!

Today, we welcome our students back to campus for the start of the spring semester. I hope everyone had a great winter break and that you’re ready to take on the new year.
As always, we have a number of exciting events planned this spring. I’m especially looking forward to the ninth annual President’s Gala, which raises funds for student scholarships, and cheering on our many student-athletes competing in spring sports. Our baseball and softball teams have each won two regular season titles since 2016, and our beach volleyball team is consistently ranked in the Top 20 nationally. We’ll also have a number of fine arts performances and exhibits to enjoy, and a full schedule of events planned for Black History Month in February and Women’s History Month in March.
We had much to celebrate in 2019, thanks to the hard work of our students, faculty and staff. Working together with Unbridled Ambition® , I know that 2020 will be another banner year. Go Owls!
