Online Veterans Program Earns First U.S. News Ranking

Tuesday, Jan 21, 2025

I am pleased to share that Florida Atlantic’s online bachelor’s program for veterans is ranked for the first time at No. 67 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. As a designated Military Friendly® School for 12 consecutive years, Florida Atlantic is proud to be recognized with this ranking for providing exceptional online programming for our nation’s heroes. I am grateful to our dedicated staff members in the University’s Military and Veterans Student Success Center for ensuring our service-connected students are fully supported as they pursue academic excellence.

The 2025 “Best Online Programs” rankings by U.S. News also recognized Florida Atlantic’s online master’s in education, which rose to No. 46 from No. 52 last year. The methodologies for each ranking are based on several factors, including engagement, faculty credentials and training, expert opinion and services and technologies provided. Only degree-granting programs that are offered predominantly online by regionally accredited institutions were considered.

These new and ongoing accomplishments reflect Florida Atlantic’s unwavering commitment to providing innovative and accessible education for all students, both online and in person. I am thankful for the hard work of the University community in fostering these achievements, and I look forward to our continued success.
