I am delighted to share that Florida Atlantic’s College of Business has been recognized by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine on its annual lists of top programs for entrepreneurship studies.

For undergraduate programs, Florida Atlantic moved up three places from last year to No. 24 overall and holds the No. 2 position among public universities in Florida. Our undergraduate programs also rank No. 5 in the South region. FAU’s graduate programs maintained their Top 50 ranking of No. 42 and are ranked No. 8 in the South.

The 2024 rankings considered nearly 300 educational institutions from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, which were evaluated to identify the best schools for students aspiring to launch their own businesses. The data analyzed entrepreneurship-focused courses and enrollment, departmental representation by entrepreneurship faculty, mentoring, alumni entrepreneurship ventures, and competitions hosted, such as new venture and business plan competitions.

Florida Atlantic’s standings in the rankings are a result of the University’s strong initiatives for entrepreneurship, including the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship, the Research Park at FAU, Tech Runway, the WAVE Competition, the Madden Center for Value Creation and the Phil Smith Center for Free Enterprise. With these offerings, our innovative students have a wide range of opportunities to create and test business models, craft comprehensive business plans, launch startups and seek external investments to fuel their ventures.

Florida Atlantic is proud to be recognized for its outstanding entrepreneur programs, which deliver transformational outcomes for students while having a significant impact on our region’s economy. These rankings reaffirm the University’s commitment to entrepreneurship as we continue to support our students, faculty, alumni and local community in their business endeavors.
