This morning, U.S. News & World Report released its list of the “Best Online Programs” for higher education in 2022, and I am proud to share that several Florida Atlantic University programs are highly ranked:

  • No. 13 in Best Online Master's in Educational Administration Programs
  • No. 20 in Best Online Master's in Nursing Programs
  • No. 21 in Best Online Master's in Business Programs for Veterans (non-MBA)
  • No. 21 in Best Online Master's in Curriculum and Instruction Programs
  • No. 30 in Best Online Bachelor's in Business Programs
  • No. 41 in Best Online Master's in Business Programs (non-MBA)

I am especially pleased to see that several programs rose significantly in the rankings. The online master’s in nursing programs moved up 12 spots from No. 32 last year to No. 20 this year, while the online master’s in educational administration and supervision jumped six spots from No. 19 to No. 13. FAU’s online master’s business programs (non-MBA) also rose to No. 41 in this year’s rankings, up from No. 45 in 2021.

More than 1,700 online education programs were evaluated, and the rankings were based on several factors, including student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies provided. It is important to note that each of the programs selected were specifically designed for distance learning. Those offering temporary online services related to the pandemic were not considered for this list.

As we strive to deliver modern and diverse methods of instruction for FAU students, it is important that our programs meet a high standard of quality and excellence. Our continued advancement in these prestigious rankings is yet another indication that Florida Atlantic is becoming the fastest-improving public research university in the nation.

Go Owls!
