child learning about the brain

Next week kicks off Brainy Days 2021, a monthlong virtual celebration of neuroscience sponsored by the FAU Brain Institute and Palm Health Foundation. The goal of Brainy Days is to educate our community about brain diseases and ultimately reduce the stigma associated with brain disorders though engaging events and activities.

Neuroscience is a pillar of FAU’s strategic plan and Brainy Days exemplifies our commitment to providing the community with the knowledge needed to maintain brain health and lower risk for brain diseases. Scientists at FAU’s Brain Institute are conducting world-class research, developing cutting-edge technologies, and training the next generation of neuroscientists.

This year’s virtual Brainy Days presentations cover a range of topics from understanding how dogs love us to insights into treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. Events kick off on Tuesday, March 2 at 4 p.m. and run through Saturday, March 23 virtually on Zoom. For a full schedule of events, visit http://fau.edu/ibrain/brainydays/.
