Program Requirements

 

TAP: Phase 1


  • Attend THREE of the available events listed in the TAP program:
    • Red, White & Paradise - January 11
    • MLK Day of Service - January 16
    • Your Future Awaits - January 19
    • WeLead Diversity Conference - January 28
    • Money Moves: Budgeting - January 31
    • Secure the Bag - February 15
    • Career Expo - February 16
    • Money Moves: Insurance - February 21
    • RecFest/Healthy Campus Expo - February 22
    • Money Moves: Homeownership - March 21
    • Festival of Nations - March 21
  • Submit either of the following:
    • A photo of yourself at the event AND a 250-word essay explaining your experience at the event
    • OR
    • A 2-3 minute video explaining your experience at the event

 

TAP: Phase 2


  • Being awarded the FAU Traditions Keeper Medallion is an opportunity available to TAP alumni only. In order to be awarded this medallion, TAP alumni need to demonstrate one of the following:
    • Hold an e-board position in a registered student organization
    • Present research at a conference or symposium
    • Obtain a job on campus

TAP alumni who complete one of the above criteria demonstrate alignment with the traditions promoted within the transfer student engagement philosophy at Florida Atlantic University, which are leadership development, academic advancement and career readiness.
