Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Induction

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective honor society recognizing and rewarding scholastic achievement in all academic disciplines. As a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, students will be in the company of many distinguished members. Students are also eligible for more than $800,000 in national awards granted yearly for graduate fellowships, study abroad, and other competitive awards. Employee Service Awards Ceremony

This awards ceremony recognizes the faculty and staff of Florida Atlantic University. The University will recognize completed years of service for regular full-time and part-time employees with continued and completed service of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 years at FAU. The University will also acknowledge winners of this year's President's Leadership Awards, Jeffrey Gabor Exemplary Employee Awards, the TIAA CREF Faculty Award and the VALIC Customer Service Award.

 

Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society

Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society located on over 300 college campuses. The society recognizes achievement in the five areas of scholarship; athletics; campus/ community service, social/religious activities, and campus government; journalism, speech and the mass media; and creative and performing arts. Standards of Excellence Banquet and Order of Omega Induction

The Standards of Excellence banquet is an annual program hosted by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life. The event is set up to recognize and award those fraternities and sororities that are operating at a high level and exceeding expectations, as well as providing an opportunity for a chapter to be reflective on the past year. Several fraternity and sorority members will also get inducted into the leadership honor society Order of Omega. Order of Omega recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, involvement within their respective organization and within the Greek, campus, and local community. The SOAR Banquet is a wonderful event designed to recognize and celebrate the great accomplishment of student organizations from across the FAU campuses. Awards will be given to Student Organization of the Year, New Student Organization of the Year, Student Leader of the Year, among many others. Honors Convocation

President Mary Jane Saunders and Provost Brenda J. Claiborne will host the University's 44th annual Honors Convocation on Monday, April 22, at 4:30 p.m. in the University Theater on the Boca Raton campus. The annual ceremony recognizes the University's most outstanding students and faculty. Students to be honored include University Scholars, the Phi Kappa Phi Scholar, the Stan and Renee Wimberly Scholar, the Distinguished Student Award, the University Club Merit Award, the Fraternity and Sorority Life Scholars and the Student-Athletes of the Year.
