Liaison to the Board of Trustees

Andrew LaPlant Andrew LaPlant serves as director of Board of Trustees operations and liaison to the board. He works directly with the board and University leadership to facilitate board meetings and communicate Florida Atlantic’s activities while maintaining all official records in accordance with state regulations. Supporting the chief of staff, LaPlant manages board logistics and is a member of the administrative support team within the Office of the President. He joined Florida Atlantic in 2003 and worked in media relations and the Office of the Provost before he began his service to the board in 2010.
