Dr. Sangbeak Ye, an Associate Professor of Research Methodology at Florida Atlantic University, is a statistician with extensive expertise in psychometric instrument development and latent variable modeling (Cognitive Diagnosis Models, Item Response Theory, and Knowledge Space Theory). He has served as a principal and collaborating investigator on national and international grants, notably leading psychometric analyses for longitudinal and group-randomized trials. His scholarship includes work on advanced statistical methods for measuring educational and patient-reported outcomes, as well as developing high-dimensional latent variable frameworks. Through these innovative approaches, Dr. Ye continually refines the reliability, validity, and interpretability of measurement tools across diverse settings in education and healthcare.
