Born blind and having acquired hearing loss in his mid-20s, Easton brings both lived experience and technical expertise to his work in accessibility. With over 20 years of experience using the JAWS screen reader, he has recently earned his second certification from Freedom Scientific, the creators of JAWS.
Professionally, Easton has worked in a call center environment as both an agent and a team leader, using JAWS to manage complex systems, lead teams, and deliver strong results. He has also relied on VoiceOver on the iPhone for more than 11 years to independently manage everything from communication and banking to online ordering and productivity tasks.
His passion for assistive technology is matched by a commitment to making digital and workplace environments more accessible and inclusive for everyone. Always eager to learn new technical skills, Easton enjoys sharing knowledge to help others navigate tools and systems more effectively.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing and recording music, weightlifting, cooking, and staying up to date with new accessibility tools and trends.
