Welcome to the Development Office of the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters
At the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at FAU, we start by helping students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the real world. This means grounding them in important ideas and diverse perspectives. We offer an interdisciplinary approach to learning that reflects the global economy our students will enter after graduation with the objective of preparing thoughtful, creative, multi-disciplined citizens for today's workforce.
Whether an engineering, business, or biomedical sciences major, all FAU students take classes from the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, making it one of the largest colleges with an enrollment of more than 4,300 students.
Why Give?
Contributions to the College of Arts and Letters allow us to continue to realize new and stimulating initiatives that reinforce the scholarly and artistic excellence of our faculty and students. Private gifts afford donors the opportunity to invest in distinguished faculty and talented students by funding important programs, scholarships, professorships, research, and new facilities.
Philanthropic generosity allows the College to create dreams and visions that bring new levels of excellence that would not otherwise be available without dedicated donors who understand the value of an educational program grounded in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
We invite you to become part of our future and part of our legacy, by making a gift to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters. Together we can continue to change lives and shape the future.
