Plans after graduation?
After graduation I will be teaching adjunct at FAU and auditioning as much as I can!
Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I see myself either working full time in the theatre department at a college or working as a teaching artist, artistic director, or casting director in a theatre in South Florida.

Plans: Moving to New York City to pursue acting!

UNDERGRADUATE CLASS OF SUMMER 2020
Jacob Altman - BA Theatre
Favorite Show: I really appreciate theatre that makes people think or helps them work through something. After stage managing for Dead Man's Cellphone, I valued going through that process from start to finish; so I would have to say that was my favorite show I worked on in my time at FAU.
Favorite Class: Every class I took helped me bring me closer to being a better artist and person. However, there is only one class I suggest everyone take even if they're not in theatre. Voice 1 helped me find a solid baseline for performing and being in second circle throughout life. It's incredible how much more you can empathize with someone through voice and breath.

Plans after graduation?: I'm hoping to say in the area to find other work until the theatres open back up and hopefully rejoin the theatre community in helping it move forward post-pandemic.
Where do you see yourself in five years?: I'm hoping to be working throughout South Florida in many different roles while branching out to different theatres and states.
