60+ Audit Program for Certain Courses

Adults who are 60 years of age or older and are permanent residents of Florida may audit certain undergraduate courses at Florida Atlantic University tuition-free. Florida residency is established by living in the State of Florida for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the start of the semester. Classroom space for 60+ Audit is based on availability after regular student registration. As such, registration for 60+ Auditors takes place after the end of the regular Drop/Add period. Course offerings are limited and vary each semester. These offerings are determined by the academic departments in conjunction with their faculty and represent the complete list of course choices for the semester. We anticipate the course offerings for Summer 2024 to be available on April 12, 2024.

In order to be eligible to register for the courses, you must take these steps prior to registration.
