Thank You for a Successful President’s Gala!

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of hosting the 2024 President’s Gala at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena on the Boca Raton campus. During this annual event, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Florida Atlantic come together to celebrate the University’s achievements and support student scholarships.

This year, the President’s Gala was another tremendous success, raising more than $1.2 million for scholarships, thanks to our event sponsors and more than 600 attendees. Additionally, the Transcend Tomorrow campaign reached a $500 million milestone toward its $600 million goal. Overall, the campaign has experienced record levels of engagement with more than 58,000 unique donors contributing to its focus areas of FAU Health, the environment, and scholarships and student success.

We are thrilled to have made such excellent progress toward scholarships during the President’s Gala. I hope everyone had a wonderful time while supporting this meaningful cause. Thank you again to the volunteers, sponsors and attendees for helping us create a legacy of excellence that solves tomorrow’s challenges today.
