‘Brainy Days’ Celebrations Begin

Thursday, Mar 02, 2023

Today kicks off Brainy Days 2023, a monthlong celebration of neuroscience sponsored by the FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute and Palm Health Foundation. Since 2018, FAU’s Brainy Days programming has played an essential role in educating and engaging our community about the benefits of brain research.

At FAU, neuroscience is an important aspect of our strategic plan that aims to advance understanding of the brain and ultimately enhance human health. Brainy Days exemplifies this commitment by providing the community with valuable knowledge needed to maintain brain health and lower risk for brain diseases. At the FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, world-renowned scientists are conducting groundbreaking research, developing cutting-edge technologies and driving discoveries that will provide hope to millions of people affected by disorders such as autism, depression and Alzheimer’s disease.

This year’s Brainy Days presentations cover a range of topics including autism research, the nature of existence and alternative therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Events begin today and will run through Monday, March 27. For a full schedule of events, visit www.fau.edu/ibrain/brainydays.
